Hi, My Name is James

I am a food addict.

My overeating and exercise routine has been out of control.

My life changed when I accepted this fact.

A success story is a guilt driven tool to use to inspire the purchase of some advertising based corporation funded weight loss program. Fuck-that, I am tired of my addiction.

I am not a results-driven dieter.

I am no longer controlled by my eating.

I want to convey that my family, friends, and community are the only reason for this website. A successfully achieved weight loss program is only the first step; to keep the weight loss--changing your beliefs- a process of acceptance-- is required and difficult, but with Honesty, Hope, Faith, Courage, Integrity, Willingness, Humility, Love, and Service can be achieved.

My goal with Fatt, Inc. is to convey a non-commercialized weight loss program.

My 12 Steps

  1. Honesty-Admitting Powerlessness: I have been powerless over food, and unhealthy eating had power over me, and that change is needed.

  2. Hope-A Higher Power: My hope comes from my inner strength by leaning on my love of friends, family, or a support group.

  3. Faith-Turning Over Control: My decision is to surrender control over food and exercise to my higher power.

  4. Courage-Making a Searching and Fearless Inventory: I will study my past, critically reviewing my relationship with food and identifying triggers, emotional connections, and habits that contribute to overeating.

  5. Integrity-Admitting Wrongdoing: Admitted to my higher power, I am responsible for my food choices, I am responsible for my fat, my well-being, and I am responsible to my loved ones and higher powers.

  6. Willingness-Being Ready to Change: I am ready to make positive changes and to have the strength from my higher powers to remove my negative diet and my past exercise plan.

  7. Humility-Help, please: I humbly ask for support, and the power to remove these defects in character.

  8. Love-Making a List of Amends: I have identified how my unhealthy habits impact myself and others, and I am willing to make amends for myself and others.

  9. Adapt-Continuing Personal Inventory: I will reflect daily on my eating habits, exercise, and my impact on others and make adjustments as needed.

  10. Perseverance-Admitting When Wrong: Promptly admit when you make mistakes in your weight loss journey and learn from them without self-judgment. Treat yourself and others with Love

  11. Practicing Mindfulness: Cultivate mindfulness in your eating habits, being fully present during meals, and making conscious choices.

  12. Service-Helping Others: Share your experiences, strengths, and hopes with others who are struggling with weight loss, offering support and encouragement.

Remember that this program is meant to provide a framework for personal reflection and growth. It's essential to consult with healthcare professionals or nutritionists to create a personalized and safe weight loss plan based on your individual needs and health conditions.
